Tuuagso Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Hallo! Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch! auch wenn Sie bereits die meisten von ihnengesehen (sorry if my German is bad, I used a translator) Nepenthes: Rebecca Soper, bicalcarata, clipeata (clipeata x eymae), sibuyanensis, rajah, lowii and jamban. Darlingtonia californica Cephalotus follicularis (mit Blüten und Samen)
Feldenberg Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Great pictures of fine plants! I found the colouration of Darlingtonia most impressive! Keep up the work and happy growing! :-) Greetinx Feldi
Nils Schön Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Hello Claudio, as Feldenberg said, your Darlingtionia is just beautiful, the Cephalotus and the Nepenthes sibuyanensis also. Would be really great to hear again from you, soon. Thanks a lot for these pictures. Greetings Nils
Nomit Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) Hey Claudio, I have to agree with feldenberg and Nils. Really good looking and -I hope so- healthy plants. I also like your Darlingtonia- beautiful like the sunset. :thumbsu: It`s amazing how some plants could look so cool like the Cepis and Neps. How do you cultivate them? Thank you for showing! Tuuagso Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) Thank you so much for writing in English! Thanks for your kind comments! Nomit, I grow Cephalotus and Darlingtonia on windowsills, and Nepenthes in terraria, where they recieve so much light, but temperature never gets so high, as Mexico City is about 2400 meters over sea level, so it rarely gets above 25°C, and temperature drops up to 15°C at night or even lower every night, that's why I don't have any problem growing highland Nepenthes, I only put them on a good soil and keep them in a terrarium with good illumination and weather does the rest. Steven H. Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Thank you so much for writing in English! Thanks for your kind comments! Hi, first, i really like your Plants, and your Cephalotuses are beautiful, but one Question, sry for my bad English but i Hope you can understand me My Question is, on what "Side" you cultivate your Plants? Maybe Southwindow,North,East or West, you know what I mean? ;D Best Regards Steven
Tuuagso Posted September 8, 2011 Author Posted September 8, 2011 Steven H. Your English is OK  mine is not perfect either. Anyways, anwering your question: Darlingtonias are facing to the East and Cephalotus facing to the north, but it seems like the coloration in Darlingtonia increases as the cobra gets older, and coloration in Cephalotus increases with the autumm drop of temperature, but light is an important factor though is not the only one. Nepenthes and other plants recieve light from the roof so they get light almost all day through. Here are some pictures of the place I grow so many plants. You can see light goes through the window or roof. Cephalotus are always covered with a plastic glass to keep high humidity. Ich werde versuchen, sprechen in Zukunft Deutsch. Sie können in Deutsch schreiben, aber im Moment kann ich nur antworten diese Art von Fragen in englischer Sprache.
Alex S. Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Great plants, congratulations!! Specially the cephalotus, I wish my will looks like yours one day. So far there are 2 small Cephalotis and far away from the colour and the size of you plants. Respect!!! :thumbsu: Greetings from Berlin Alex
