Guest songling_li Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hallo, Ich bin neu hier. Mein Deutsch ist nicht gut. So nur Fotos ... Beste Grüße Songling
Fabian K Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hi songling_li, you grow a gorgeous plant there. Beautiful! Wished my Cephaloti would show those magnificent colors. How do you illuminate yours? Cheers Ors
Kai Becker Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hallo, sehr schöne Fotos und eine super Ausfärbung. Grüße Kai
Latrodectus Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hi Songling, welcome aboard! What a brilliant "guy" of Cephalotus "German Giant"! I wonder what lamp do you use. I´ve grown this clone for several years but pitchers have never become bigger than approx. 4 cm (height). I wonder how old a "German Giant" must be to show its final size. Too bad I sold all my Cephs last year when I decided to give up CPs! :ak: And finally: Giving up CPs didn´t work anyway! :haha: (The worst addiction I ever experienced...) Kind regards Andreas
Guest songling_li Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Dear all, I'm using a LED panel, with the voltage of 45W, most are red bulbs. The heat generated is low enough to put plants very close to it. But it's only 40 X 40 cm large, just enough to cover several plants. And once a led bulb burned, the rest will burned in a row quickly... Best regards, Songling Li
jusch Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm using a LED panel, with the voltage of 45W, most are red bulbs. The heat generated is low enough to put plants very close to it. But it's only 40 X 40 cm large Nice coloration! So it's 45 W per 0.4x0.4 m = 281 watts per square metre in your setup. I'm growing also Cephalotus under a do-it-yourself LED light with 18*1.1W = 20 W white highpower Cree LEDs per 0.6x0.3m = 111 watts per square metre My Cephalotus grows mostly green with very little coloration.
